Ryan was born and raised in Huron, SD. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has a strong career background in finance and insurance. Ryan joined Dakotaland in 2012 and has been leading the business lending team as VP of Business Lending since January 2021.  

He is an avid outdoorsman and has a green thumb for gardening. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Huron and are the proud parents of Camdyn and Corbin. Jennifer is employed by Huron Public Schools.
