Position Summary: We are looking for a service-oriented individual to join our team and provide our members with trustworthy and friendly financial experiences. At Dakotaland FCU the members are the number one priority. Member Service Representatives are here to assist members by identifying products and services that would be beneficial to their financial success. They should also create awareness of all available products and services so that members may make an informed decision as to what is best for their current financial situation.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted partner to members by opening and maintaining a wide variety of accounts, including Personal, Business, Trust, Payee, IRA, Funeral Trust, and Club accounts.
  • Support members’ short- and long‑term financial goals by issuing, modifying, and redeeming Certificates of Deposit, including IRA Certificates.
  • Empower members to confidently use Dakotaland’s digital and technology solutions that fit their busy, on‑the‑go lifestyles.
  • Act as a go‑to resource for members’ day‑to‑day financial needs by handling phone inquiries, account transfers, research and maintenance, Visa and loan payments, and wire processing.
  • Build lasting relationships with members by understanding their needs and proactively offering guidance and solutions throughout every stage of life.

 

Skills:

  • Must possess good judgment and be able to make independent decisions.
  • Expected to stay up to date on all credit union services and explain those to members on a general basis.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills and a desire to interact with the public.
  • Must be a highly productive person with ability to manage multiple duties concurrently.
  • Ability to exhibit confidentiality, patience, courtesy, and tact when providing assistance or service to members and collaborating with coworkers.

Job Summary: The Brand Experience Designer is responsible for creating and executing compelling visual content that strengthens brand consistency and enhances the member experience across all channels. This role leads projects from concept through delivery, producing high-quality creative material for digital, print, signage, merchandise and materials while ensuring alignment with strategic marketing goals.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the design, and implementation of marketing programs, materials and delivery systems that will reflect our brand and achieve the overall organizational goals of the credit union.
  2. Design and produce and maintain on-brand creative assets for digital (web, social, email, ads) and print (signage, collateral, forms, publications).
  3. Work with the Senior Vice President of Marketing and marketing team to provide professional recommendations for concept, design, art direction, production, print buying, and monitor quality control.
  4. Actively participate in marketing team planning sessions and strategize and execute quarterly promotions.
  5. Collaborate with the Social Media Marketing Assistant to produce digital campaign visuals across platforms, such as Google, Facebook, and HubSpot.
  6. Oversee creative asset management, including file organization and brand libraries.
  7. Stay informed of credit union policies, product knowledge, and applicable State and Federal Regulations as they relate to marketing.
  8. Assist in the internal dissemination of marketing-related information and communication throughout the credit union.
  9. Maintain a productive working relationship with all departments, third-party vendors and marketing partners.
  10. Stay current on design trends and tools to keep creative fresh, effective, and on brand.
  11. Review and uphold digital and website compliance standards around design, brand and accessibility.
  12. Maintain personal time sheets and submit in a timely manner according to payroll processes.

 

 

Qualifications and skills: A degree in graphic design and/or 5+ years of experience in brand design, marketing member experience, or related role. Experience in financial services preferred; familiarity with the credit union movement is a plus. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

 

  1. Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  2. Ability to interpret and translate strategy into polished, production-ready creative as well as update existing designs, maintaining brand standards across all media.
  3. Strong attention to detail with visual storytelling and design skills including color, typography, and layout.
  4. Ability to execute multi-channel, integrated content across digital and print platforms.
  5. Highly effective communicator with the ability to align messaging to a variety of audiences.
  6. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines established by the Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Maintain accounting records for clients. Prepare and process payrolls. Prepare tax returns along with other tax related documents.

 

  • Offer excellent service to clients which may include bookkeeping, payroll, etc. Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
  • Accurately record numerical and financial data to produce financial records.
  • Reconcile and report differences or issues found in financial records.
  • Enter journal entries to debit and credit the client’s accounts.
  • Learn and research updates to always remain in compliance with various federal, state, and local tax/accounting requirements.
  • Generate accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable, and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses.
  • Adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
  • Prepare business and personal tax returns.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reporting requirements. Prepare annual bookkeeping forms (1099’s, 2290) and Sales Tax Returns.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

 

Skills/Expectations:

A bachelor’s degree or formal education or certification in accounting is required for this position and at least two years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping and payroll. A minimum of four years of tax preparation experience and at least two years of payroll and bookkeeping experience may be considered in lieu of education. Applicants must be able to use Quickbooks or similar accounting software. Position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software. Applicants must possess good judgment, have a strong working knowledge of clerical procedures, have excellent interpersonal skills, and represent Dakotaland in various ways in a professional manner.

  • Prepare annual bookkeeping forms (1099’s, 2290) and Sales Tax Returns.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
