Mariah grew up in Sioux Falls. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Administration. She worked as a teller during college, where she grew to enjoy working with business owners and getting to know members. After graduation she moved to Brookings to be closer to her boyfriend, Finn, while he attended SDSU. Mariah and Finn have come to love everything Brookings has to offer – whether it be the sense of community, the nature park or the seasonal events. Mariah joined Dakotaland and Finn is a business analyst at Daktronics.

In her free time, Mariah loves spending time with family and friends. In the warmer months she enjoys walking, biking, and running outside on the nature trails. In the colder months she loves reading classic and thriller books, working out at the gym, and watching movies/TV shows.
