Alex was born and raised in De Smet, SD. After attending South Dakota State University and moving between states for a few years, she found herself missing home and moved back. In the fall of 2022, she joined the Dakotaland team as a teller, where she quickly moved into the role of Consumer Lending Officer. Every day she loves seeing familiar faces that she has known for years. Helping our members reach their financial goals and dreams is one of her biggest “why’s” when asked why she chose Dakotaland. Alex married her husband, Mykel, in October of 2024. When they are not working, you can find them golfing, hunting and attending all of the SDSU football games! She also loves coaching De Smet High School volleyball and announcing all home basketball games online for ValleyFiber Com.
